I have been married almost 15 years to my husband. We have five children with our 5th adopted in March of 2008. My husband is Ethiopian by decent and well I am... not Ethiopian -- only by taste buds! I taught school for 13 years and am now into the business of selling houses.
Selah often means to rest. It also means to take measure of the meaning of what has been said. We are attempting to measure and take in all that we have learned in this journey to our new son from Ethiopia. God has truly blessed us! We have treasured the love and support of friends and family during this process. We can never thank you enough. This blog is to help document our journey to Malachi and help us to remember each moment.
This is us in DC on our way to Ethiopia-- This is actually taken by one of our kids:) I am thankful for the constant love of Aser to our family. We are truly blessed to call him husband and daddy--

Great photo! Of course it doesn't hurt that you two are ridiculously attractive people -- you look like movie stars in this picture. :-)
